In
May, Dutch architects Harm
Timmermans and Stijn Kemper, kindly
supported by Fonds
BKVB did an amazing work to design the changes that made the
house suitable to host projects. Next to practical adjustments to the kitchen and the
bathroom, the main focus was on
the attic, with the aim to transform
it
in a multifunctional space. By opening the roof we got natural light and lovely views onto the surrounding hills. A roof terrace
which can be accessed from the garden was designed, to connect the house
with the landscape.
In June 2007, the actual renovation took place,
executed by a building company contracted by the house owner.
