Virtual Chef Romania  :::  the << Varza a  la Cluj>>  experience  in Istanbul 

At Caravansarai one of the ongoing projects is "The Virtual Chef". This project explores, through food, the international and diverse aspects of Istanbul. 

In the busy city of Istanbul, Julie Upmeyer finds the ingredients for "Varza a la Cluj", the meal planned by Anamaria Galea in Romania. Julie's adventures and findings, as well as the cooking process  ** with online directions from Anamaria Galea, on Skype at morisena ** are documented on the Caravansarai wiki. Before and after dinner,  Julie's guests at Caravansarai  watched the video produced  during the Hitchhiking to Transylvania project at  morisena .

Later this year, Julie came to visit us as an observer in residence at morisena during the TransyMusic project, and we cooked again Varza a la Cluj - this time with Anamaria - LIVE.
