m o r i s e n a  was a personal initiative of Iuliana Varodi and got born out of love for travelling and experiential, participatory exploration.  
What made it happen was generous participation and support coming from beautiful friends, artists, family, volunteers and local companies.

m o r i s e n a  projects (2007) were set up as a context for exploring creativity and collaboration while living with a small local community.
It has all started in the spirit of inviting artists to participate in collaborative art projects, to share a concept, a house, a garden,
to explore the local culture and traditions, and all that can happen in and around a collaborative art project:
the challenges of creation and production in a self sustainable environment, 
the cooking, the cleaning, the fun, the gardening, the failures and
potential results.
